GreenForce, a full-service staffing and temporary employment agency focused on labor solutions for the cannabis industry in Oregon and Arizona, is currently looking for a Vice President of Operations. This person possesses the ability to lead, strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented attitude, clear communication, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing are required. The Vice President of Operations will lead the operational activities of GreenForce’s Oregon and Arizona businesses while collaborating with the management team and leading direct reports to ensure smooth organizational communications, adherence to business processes and execution of company goals and strategic direction. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

 

The Vice President of Operations, is a senior leadership role responsible for creating and implementing operational strategies that will help GreenForce grow and thrive.

 

Salary 80-95K DOE + Performance incentive compensation

Duties

  • Management and oversight of 150+ employees in Oregon and Arizona with 5+ direct reports

    • Demonstrating leadership through coaching, delegation, system oversight, while cultivating a productive and healthy work culture

  • Provide financial and operational oversight for total organization 

    • Provide target metrics for departments, overseeing processes to gauge success, and provide insights that help people across the organization make better decisions

    • Accountability for KPIs and Departmental metrics

  • Assist  CEO in developing strategic budget and operational plans, including strategies for future growth and scale

  • Managing departmental budgets and expense oversight

  • Maintaining corporate and legal compliance, including  business registration / license, operational agreements, employment filings, and adherence to all city, county, state and federal regulations and laws

  • Familiarity with Traction methodology 


Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to develop trust and build rapport across the organization

  • Strong experience with managing teams and multiple direct reports 

  • Excellent conflict resolution skills with ability to execute unbiased investigation and documentation 

  • Maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information with discretion

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite 

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands

  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing activities to meet deadlines and organizational needs.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Willingness to learn new systems 

  • Ability to analyze data and metrics

  • Ability to manage multiple departments and delegate duties appropriately

  • Strong accounting and budgeting skills

  • Creative problem solver

  • Knowledge of best practices in HR


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent experience. Business Administration preferred

  • Full-Time availability

  • 7+ years in operations with 3+ years in management and leadership roles

  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry and/or labor staffing businesses preferred

  • Occasional travel to out of state office sites when necessary

  • Willingness to invest and grow with the organization
