Cannabis Wholesale Sales Rep

GreenForce is recruiting for a business partner of ours that is a leading wholesaler of cannabis products in the state of Oregon. They are looking for an excellent Sales Representative who will be responsible for promoting and profitably selling all their flower and products to OLCC Dispensaries.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for sales and be the direct point of contact with customers within the assigned territory (western Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton area, Salem). In this role, you must be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently as well as be self-motivated within a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.

Hours:Full Time

Compensation: $40,000 no commission to start + $150/month car allowance. Sales rep will be an independent contractor for the first 90 days as a probationary period. After 90 days the sales rep will become an employee. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage an assigned territory making consistent positive contact with existing clients as well as potential new business opportunities.

  • Target, qualify and pursue leads in accordance with the company’s strategy and techniques.

  • Plan and perform marketing, sales calls, appointments, and site visits.

  • The ability to connect with clients through multiple touchpoints- Owners, Managers, Buyers, and Budtenders.

  • Provide accurate log for all scheduled and completed meeting with potential and existing clients.

  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential clients, explaining product, overcoming objectives to drive business using a consultative sales process.

  • Stay current with industry trends to identify new opportunities for company growth.

  • Establish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with all clients and company staff.

  • Work closely with our Operations to ensure successful planning, development, and execution of your sales strategy plan to achieve personal and company sales goals.

  • Follow all state, local and company rules to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.


  • Previous experience in the marijuana/cannabis industry is preferred.

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is preferred.

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally B2B and small to medium businesses preferred.

  • Self-starter, highly motivated and outgoing.

  • Previous experience with client management.

  • Willing and receptive to training and personal development.

  • Marketing experience a plus.

  • Successful track record selling in a competitive and growing market.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Computer, CRM and overall tech and mobile skills

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction

  • Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time including overnights on a weekly basis.

  • Per state law must be at least 21 years of age.

Licenses and other Requirements:

  • OLCC Marijuana Handler Permit

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Includes repetitive motions including repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms

  • Must have eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Includes bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling

  • Must be able to work in varying conditions including heat, humidity, and cold.
